Dermal Fillers at Park Royal Dental Clinic

Dermal fillers are one of the most versatile non-surgical aesthetic treatments available. At Park Royal Dental Clinic, our dentists use hyaluronic acid-based fillers to restore lost volume, define facial contours, smooth deeper lines and folds, and create a more youthful, balanced appearance — all without surgery, without general anaesthetic, and with results visible immediately.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found throughout the body. The fillers we use are biocompatible, gradually absorbed by the body over time, and reversible with a dissolvable enzyme if needed. Our dentists bring an exceptionally detailed knowledge of facial anatomy — the understanding of facial muscles, nerves, arteries, and skeletal structure that dental training provides.

Who is dermal fillers suitable for?

Dermal fillers are suitable for adults who want to address volume loss, contour deficiency, or specific lines and folds without surgery. Common treatment areas include the lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, the chin, the cheeks, and the jawline.

Fillers are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for patients with certain autoimmune conditions or on blood-thinning medication, or for patients with active skin infections in the treatment area.

Why choose us

Park Royal Dental difference

We use only CE-marked, licensed hyaluronic acid filler products — never cheap, uncertified products. Our practitioners use the minimum effective volume to achieve the desired result, avoiding the over-filled, distorted appearance associated with excessive filler use.

We also offer Botox combined with filler at the same appointment for patients wanting both treatments — creating a more balanced result than either treatment alone.

Aftercare advice

Immediately after filler treatment: avoid rubbing or pressing the treated area for 24 hours. Avoid intense heat for 48 hours. Sleep on your back if possible for the first night. Some bruising and swelling is normal and typically resolves within 7–10 days. Full results are visible at 2 weeks — we review the outcome at this appointment and make any minor refinements needed.

Common Questions

Dermal Fillers FAQs

Does filler treatment hurt?

The level of discomfort is minimal. We apply a topical anaesthetic cream before treatment, and the filler products contain lidocaine which numbs the area as the filler is injected.

What is the difference between filler and Botox?

Botox relaxes muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. Filler adds volume and structure. They complement each other and are often used together for the most balanced result.

What if I don't like the result?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved quickly with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down the filler within 24–48 hours.

How long do fillers last?

Typically 9–18 months depending on the product used, the area treated, and individual metabolism.
